okay! everyone has somehow or rather blogged about Danzation and I guess its time i do so too! A huge thank you to everyone who came to watch this production, I'm really tempted to think that if i were an audience i would enjoy it so much i hope everyone who watched it feels the same way.

i guess being in NRA, performing and all not only teaches us dance. And there's this crazy frenzy going around, people helping others.

managed to catch this shot when Trecia and I were roaming around hand in hand backstage looking for people to camwhore with. This crazy guy here isn't even sweating so much cause he just ran 10 miles but because he was doing quickchange (yes?)

my camwhore partner for the two days. we were pretty free after our first freshie items and had time backstage until our next items so we just camwhored and roamed around :b

NRA also lets you meet people from all over. It's a crazily embarrassing yet amusing story -- how i met Catrina, NRA alumni. That aside, it's awesome to be able to meet her again :D:D It's been a year!

in the two days i realised that he is somehow or rather usually sitting alone in a very photo-friendly pose :b more in Day 2. I thought it wouldn't be nice to just secretly snap shots so i showed him the photo and he tried to delete it so Trecia and I escaped back into the sink area.

ahha so cute right this photo. it's like they're both in a beauty pageant or smth.

after debrief we continued camwhoring on stage :D these two nuts kept calling out for me to take photos of them. they even had a story behind it. They were to pretend to be stoning, then i had to call out their name and they would look up oh-so-innocently and i would snap their photo like a paparazzi.

oh yes and another person i was brought back with via NRA is May! It's crazy, we knew each other since 2004 (i think) through a SDT production -- Cinderella. We hung around in the same group in the backstage of Esplanade for a couple of weeks but lost contact after the show. Ahh! So now we kinda call each other the long lost ballerina friends :b

so more and more photos when suddenly .. we rushed Alexis to the sink, backstage.
here comes the blood part. she suddenly had a nosebleed for no apparent reason -__- heard that jaei had nosebleed backstage during Day 2 too. after that was settled, we were on our way out again when...

O____O sijia looks super fierce. trecia = drama momma, hahahha.

maybe its because of her hurt thumb ): it was bleeding and all after her bboy(?) item. More blood for Sijia on Day 2 too when she crashed onto someone on stage and her gum bled : O : O please tc and get well soon!!!

Danzation Day 2

Reporting time was 12nn, reached slightly late to find everyone sitting outside... eating :b Thank you Wenmei for buying Onigiri for me! and to Kitkat who brought his ahma's Tang Yuan.

Ben was already in the midst of tattooing his entire body while Seng Kiat was writing on people's arms.

we were about to start the dry run for the day when word spread around that it was weiying's birthday! :O all the freshies broke out in a birthday song and the birthday girl was so touched she cried ): awwwww

the dry run for that day was super hilarious. there's this natural sitcom-humour in so many of our dancers, its crazy. fast forward to the actual show. I loved the crowd. i think we all did :D

they didn't come specially for me but to have them linger and just talk to them all about the concert and catching up here and there felt good. Ah henry was there too :D after talking to them and all i decided it was too sad to just sit and wait for debrief to happen so i went around to take more photos!! :D:D

Cabbed home with JiaJie after that. Since the first night I've been editing photos and I didn't finish until the 21st afternoon. I totally can relate to how everyone says they miss the feeling of having rehearsals, going to school for dance and all and i can't deny that i feel that way too. Am feeling so ... moved. NRA = Family :D
